Veronica Barnes is the founder and CEO of Mindset2Money.  She founded Mindset2Money to address the economic inequalities facing underrepresented populations, especially young adults. Mindset2Money  provides a holistic approach to teaching financial literacy. Veronica emphasizes income generation strategies and  financial management skills to gain financial stability and independence.  

​Veronica’s professional background includes finance, project management and human resources. She started her  career in finance and credits that experience to building her business acumen. She graduated summa cum laude with Bachelor’s degree in  Finance from North Carolina A&T State University and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Vanderbilt  University, with a focus on Human Organization & Performance and General Management. Her academic  accomplishments led to her working with four fortune 100 companies: Caterpillar, General Electric, Honeywell and Google. Before entering the Human Resource field, Veronica worked for a non-profit education organization.  There, she established processes that transformed a chronically low-performing school into one that achieved the  highest academic performance increase within the Los Angeles Unified School District.
 
Veronica’s experience confirmed her belief that working in a collaborative supportive setting and providing  students access and exposure to information can deliver game-changing outcomes. This type of collaboration and  non-judgemental support is what she strives to instill in her business workshops.

​In her spare time Veronica is also an avid traveler who enjoys learning about new cultures on international  trips. She is a marathon runner and loves to spend quality time with family and friends.
