​Richard Hayes career has been rooted in higher education for the past fifteen years. Richard currently holds an MBA from University of Phoenix and a Masters of Public Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. Richard has served in leadership roles in Financial Aid, Enrollment, Project Management, Academic Advising and Customer Service Rich currently serves as the Executive Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships for the University of Illinois Chicago.

Richard has championed initiatives that promoted holistic student services, created satisfactory academic progress flexibility for first year students, implemented new federal verification client and processes, and enhanced community financial awareness by implementing the Money Management Centers across the City Colleges of Chicago through his work as an Engaging Equity Fellow with the University of Illinois’s Office of Community College Research & Leadership.
