Corey Phillips is a 22-year-old economic empowerment strategist, keynote speaker, and the Founder & CEO of Social Storm LLC, a Chicago-based media, education, and community platform focused on financial literacy, ownership, and economic opportunity. Recognized nationally by Black Enterprise, MarketWatch, ABC 7 Chicago, and the Chicago Sun-Times, Corey has educated and inspired more than 5,000 youth and adults through 50+ workshops, conferences, and civic forums. What began as a dorm-room idea has grown into a movement that translates complex financial, economic, and technological concepts into clear, actionable strategies. A senior at North Central College and a multi-sport collegiate athlete, Corey brings discipline, authenticity, and a peer-to-peer voice that resonates with the next generation. His mission: to help people understand the systems they live in, take responsibility for their future, and build sustainable economic power for themselves and their communities.
